  • Rehabilitation of Arlington House

    Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA
    Install fire protection system with installation of limited mechanical ductwork in basement for new climate management system. Excavation and underpinning of foundation for underground climate management and fire protection system. Fire protection system for 1st 2nd and Attic of the mansion. Install mechanical ductwork and appurtenances in the Mansion above grade. Select Architectural demo. And requires required to support MEP upgrades, elec. Upgrades. In the Comfort Station perform selective demolition and repairs required to support installation of fire protection equipment in Guard’s Room in exterior Comfort Station for FP systems located in Mansion and No. Slave Quarters. Installation of new underground mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) utilities to Mansion and stubbed out to both N. and S. Slave quarters. Utility connections and installation of fire protection and elec. Lines to existing Comfort Station. Installation of fire protection system in N. Slave quarters to include excavation and underpinning for climate management system connection.

  • Replacement of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)

    Various locations, Baltimore, MD
    This project involved the installation of approximately 120 VFDs throughout the Baltimore campus of SSA. It involved both day and night shifts. It necessitated the coordination of Federal’s staff, SSA’s maintenance shop, two control companies and our VFD programmer. Night work had to be completed and all systems had to be back up and functional by 5:00AM. This project included mechanical/HVAC, control and electrical work. Was performed concurrently with several other projects.
